Fear.FM quits on January 1, 2010!Go back

With pain in the heart we decided to put an end to Fear.FM. Unfortunately the donation meter has been standing still for a few weeks which means we did not succeed to reach our goal. It is even not enough to continue with one stream because for that we would need at least 70% of donations.

Next to the donation action we have been searching for sponsors actively, though this did not make any difference. We did not succeed to find a sponsor and/or partner who could support Fear.FM financially. We did get some small offers, but they were not enough to cover the costs of Fear.FM

Financial obligations:

With the outcome above we can conclude that a concept such as Fear.FM has no chance at existence in a legal way. The financial component is just as important, many people underestimate what it costs for a radio station as Fear.FM to keep it in the air unfortunately. Mainly the costs for music rights has helped us to make this decision. The costs for this are extremely high so an "alternative" station as Fear.FM has no right to exist. Next to that it is questionable if the artists that we play will get even 1 cent of this money.

And what now?

The website will turn black, not a good sign, Fear.FM dies. Everyone that was / is involved to Fear.FM will have to find a new place. The listener will have to start looking for alternatives.
Most of the donations will be used to close Fear.FM (current contracts etc.). Furthermore we want, together with you, provide a more proper closure. On December 30, 2009 with "Fear.FM Farewell" we will do what we do best, online radio.
We also want to thanks EVERYBODY for the support and confidence in Fear.FM! Because it can not be said often enough, we are what we are thanks to you!

Fear.FM Farewell

With "Fear.FM Farewell" to thanks all our loyal listeners, and not to forget the donators, for all the support we have had in recent years. Especially for you we will turn the Ekskuus in Valkenswaard to a radio studio where all of you can be.

To make our last live broadcast successful we have invited all artists that have Fear.FM at heart. The following artists will make the last LIVE broadcast pop (if the extreme winter temperatures are not in the way):

Darkraver
DizZorder
Dozer
Heatzone
Josh & Wesz
Low-E
Pavo
The Pitcher
Zany

Perhaps more artists will be added in the following week because there will a surprise act. The show will be hosted by no less than the 2-Dangerous-ones, Dozer and DizZorder. We hope to see you all at the last LIVE radio show on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 in the Ekskuus in Valkenswaard. The entrance will be completely free but watch out because full = full.

We would like to thanks you on behalf of the Fear.FM Crew for all the support we received in recent years. Without you Fear.FM had never been as Fear.FM is today. Furthermore, we wish you a Merry Christmas and the best for 2010.

was ist daran unmachbar?wir stellen einfach die neusten tracks zusammen und machen jeden monat ein standard-cover dazu.wir holen die tracks einfach aus den 0-day..sie muss ja nicht unbedingt fear fm heissen...wasn los..

ja können ja jeden monat n voting machen wo jeder seine favorit tracks wählt oder so

die einzige frage ist nur,wer sich dafür bereit erklärt,dass zu übernehmen,ja und nen namen muss man sich ausdenken.und das es ne top 40 ist,ist ja schon klar.und das nur gute tracks von den meist bekanntesten draufkommen ist wohl auch klar

durch nen voting kommen meistens automatisch gute tracks auf die liste. und ist auch besser weils dann nicht vom geschmack von 1-2 leuten abhängt.
allerdings macht das dann schon einiges an arbeit und es müssen auch viele voten sonst macht es kein sinn.

genau darum find ich dieses voting blöd.ich find,das sollte ein festes team entscheiden,die sie damit auskennen,so spart man zeit...

dib und ich haben jetz 2 Jahre lang das Liveset sowie die Einzeltracks von fearfm jeden Monat bereit gestellt, und wir wollen jetzt auch nicht einfach aufhören... deswegen versuchen wir mal Testweise selber die neue " TR Hardstyle Top40 Januar 2010" sowie Fearfm es machen würde hinzubekommen... (wie die platzierungen bloß zustande kommen sollen ... nunja wissen wir eig auch noch nciht so genau...) lassen wir uns überraschen

bin auch mal gespannt ob das angekündite special FearFM Hardstyle top100 set kommt und noch ausgestrahlt wird....
